Halep shares gift to herself with fans on Instagram

Joining the growing list is World No.2 Simona Halep, who revealed in a short Instagram post that she has been at home everyday over the past few weeks.

The Romanian stated that she had decided to frame the racket she used during her incredible 2019 Wimbledon run. Halep defeated Serena Williams in the final to claim her second Grand Slam title [Roland Garros 2018].

Additionally, Halep framed a picture of herself hoisting the Venus Rosewater dish, installing that next to the framed racket. She claimed the memorabilia helped brighten her day during this stressful period, before urging fans to remain positive.
