Juan Martin del Potro spent the past weeks in Miami after he underwent the knee operation, now the Argentinian spoke about COVID-19 outbreak as well as his recovery.
Del Potro did not play a competitive match since 19th June 2019. The Argentinian underwent a knee operation and now he is spending the time at home with his recovery. Recently, he also posted a
video where he is slowly becoming to excercise.
2009 US Open winner will now spend the time in home quarantine due to the Coronavirus outbreak which he will use to recover after the operation. Del Potro also thanked the doctors and crew of his flight as they took care of him.
"Early today I arrived home after two months in Miami. Of course, I am already following quarantine at home and will try to go on with my recovery here. It is very important to take care of each other. Please follow the specialists' advice, be empathetic. It is a special, unique moment and we need to give our best."
