In September 2019, a few
WTA players joined Harvard's new program, #CrossoverIntoBusiness. It aimed to give players paths also once their careers are over. Caroline Wozniacki, Bethanie Mattek-Sands or Monica Puig joined it. Now, the Puerto Rican announced that she is officially a graduate. On her Instagram profile, she wrote:
"I’m a graduate! I am so excited to implement all the tools that I learned from the
#CrossoverIntoBusiness Program and face my future as a Harvard alumni!. Thanks to the university for enhancing and strengthening my knowledge, as a human and as a businesswoman. I also want to thank Anita Elberse for the opportunity. It was an honor and privilege," Puig wrote.
