Roddick is the only man to lead Djokovic head to head with more than five games played. The American and Djokovic have played nine times with Roddick claiming five victories in contrast to the current world no 1's four.
This puts Roddick in a special place in tennis as the only man to have a positive head to head record over the Serbian star (we are looking at you Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer)
And a user on twitter asked the 37-year-old how to lead Djokovic head to head. Roddick's answer was nothing short of hilarious as he said "Sure. Retire before you have to play him again ......"
While Roddick's comment was intended as banter, we think there's an atom of truth to it. The American retired way back in 2012. And it's unlikely he will still be leading Djokovic if they had played more matches.
Either way, if you want to lead Djokovic head to head, retire before you meet him again. Let's face it, it's not that difficult.
