As most of you are aware by now, David Ferrer became the new coach of Alexander Zverev on a trial basis and while the pairing if fascinating because of many reasons it will be interesting to watch how that relationship effected Zverev's style of play as well as overall results. The German player has broken out quite early in his career but he is yet to completely breakthrough and has been stagnating for some time now.

So to celebrate them becoming a pairing we decided to throw it back on this Thursday to a match between them that became immortalized forever. It was the Madrid Masters and it was the last match of Ferrer's career. His last match was a defeat against Alexander Zverev in front of his home crowd and it's quite fitting that they are working together now.
