After the ATP Tour suspension, Stan Wawrinka has decided to play the Challenger in Prague instead of an ATP tournament.

The Swiss probably wanted to take it an easy way after more than 5 months without tennis. Wawrinka has decided to play in the Czech capital at the Challenger tournament in Prague. He's, of course, the highest-seeded player in the draw with no. 2, Jiri Vesely being the 65th man in the ATP Rankings.
After being seeded to the 2nd round, Wawrinka played the first-round winner Roman Saifullin in his first match at the Challenger in Prague. The 3-time Grand Slam champion entered the match in a great style; winning the first set 6-1 in just 27 minutes.
In the second set, also his Russian opponent showed his qualities. Wawrinka was the first one to break again, but Saifullin managed to break his opponent twice in the remainder of the set to win it 6-4 and force the third decisive set.
However, Wawrinka showed his great qualities in the third set again and didn't allow his opponent to cause any surprise in Prague. The Swiss won the last set with the same result as the first to win the match 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 in 110 minutes. In the next round, he will take on Oscar Otte from Germany.
