Australian Nick Kyrgios has always been outspoken and is not one to shy away from controversial topics.

The 24-year old took to Twitter to address Roger Federer's recent comments about the possible merger of the ATP and WTA circuits.
"We shouldn't merge." Kyrgios stated. "Did anyone ask the majority of the ATP what they think about merging with the WTA and how it's good for us?"
Kyrgios is not the only tennis professional to respond however, as retired American players Andy Roddick and Lindsay Davenport chimed in as well. However, they seemed to be in support of the notion of merging both tours.
There have been no official talks about this happening, as Federer was merely making a speculation on his Twitter account. Nonetheless, the Swiss superstar is a very influential figure in the sport. Any nascent ideas could develop into reality should enough people take notice.
