Perhaps you could converse with the hecklers who yell out at strategic moments - just when he is turning the match around at his most skilful. They drive him crazy and make a killing from high end gamblers who pay them to do so. It's well-documented and several articles have emerged from the world press about the effects of heckling on a number of players. Kyrgios understands a great deal. That's why he won't go near the clay court swing where gambling on tennis is at its worst. Okay - his actions here are to simply stay away. That's a pretty strong statement and shows you who he is. A man of principle.

There is, perhaps, another side to all this. A few players (notably Kyrgios and Zverev) are used so extensively in gambling odds that 'fans' are placed strategically around the courts to ensure they are confused and fail, just when they are getting on top of a match. They are easily baited - Kyrgios with racist jeering and Zverev with accusations of domestic violence. As a result, large bets can be placed against them and winners often brag about their takings. Of course they are furious. They are there to win. The umpire is supposed to control the crowd, not allow jeering and whistling.
