I didn't know Nadal is an atheist? Now I love him more than i did before! He's always been my favorite, from the first time i saw him play, ages ago, but I respect Federer so much and Djoker.

I don't know why people dislike Novak's personality? I think he's super smart, funny as all heck, and he definitely matured into a thoughtful man over the years.

Please give me the number of people who have actually died as a direct result of the vaccine compared to the number of people who have died without the vaccine. You will see that there is no case for people to not get vaccinated. I don't know where you are getting your info but it is not accurate. Those who are vaccinated can still get the virus, just like those who get the flu shot can still get the flu, but the severity of the illness is greatly reduced if you have the vaccine. These are the facts which evidence supports.

I'm so disappointed in these tennis players who have not gotten vaccinated. I don't know why they choose to forgo the vaccine; is it fear or do they believe the ridiculous conspiracy theories propagated by the right wing? It seems incredibly selfish. Much of the world is begging First World countries for vaccines and this numbskulls can't do the right thing??

I agree. and if he doesn't want to get vaccinated, which is his prerogative, then stop complaining about the rules and just don't go to Australia.

Hardly Hitler or Stalin! That's a bit of a stretch. Australia is mandating safeguards to keep people from getting sick; pretty much the exact opposite of Hitler and Stalin. The Australian govt isn't saying the players have to get vaccinated; they are saying they have to get vaccinated to enter Australia. You say, let people live (and die); the problem is, when people get the virus they can pass it on to others so it is not all about one person.

i can't believe Monfils wasn't picked for the Davis cup team. and Gasquet was?? This is outrageous. I don't know who the team captain is but he should right this wrong.

I'm so glad to see the Australian government take this position. I don't know what is keeping these players from joining the rest of us in getting fully vaccinated by c'mon, grow up and do the right thing. I hope America mimics Australia next year at the US Open. We live in a society and we must take care of our most vulnerable.
