Astonishingly loses. Who was surprised?

I believe what Toni was trying to say is stat wise, slams, weeks at #1, wins, etc. Novak takes the GOAT trophy hands down. Let's say Superman played for one year, served 200+ mph, hit groundstrokes 125+mph, quick as a chetah, etc. but only played one year. Would Superman not be in the GOAT debate because he only won 4 slams? My favorite was McEnroe, I'm old, and I like Novak better than Federer or Nadal BUT at his peak, no matter how long or short, I'd agree with Toni that Roger Federer was the GOAT. If this makes sense.
