2022 Abierto GNP Seguros Monterrey WTA Entry List including Svitolina, Fernandez and Keys (Last Update - 26-02)

The WTA 250 event in Monterrey will return in 2022 after a very good event last year with an even stronger field than last year.

The event will take place at the end of February with the weekly event overlapping into the first week of March. It's played on hard courts which is why many great players will attend the event including 2021 champion Leylah Fernandez. The Canadian won her maiden trophy at the event and she will return to the event to try and defend it.

Joining her are the likes of Elina Svitolina, Madison Keys, Ajla Tomljanovic and others. Svitolina being a former champion as well, winning in 2020.
