2023 Australian Open WTA Final Preview: Sabalenka - Rybakina

The 2023 Australian Open women's final will be played on Saturday and the winner will either be Aryna Sabalenka or Elena Rybakina as champion.

Elena Rybakina has played in a final before and she won that final by beating Ons Jaber at Wimbledon last year. Aryna Sabalenka never won a grand slam before but she made it to the semi-final before. Both of these players played really strong tennis to make it to this stage. Both love attacking play and both will try to assert their dominance in the match.

They played a couple of times already and Sabalenka had more success. Only one match last year and it was an exhibition match which Sabalenka won. She's also favoured to win tomorrow and generally has the heavier game overall. Rybakina plays a bit more flat but she doesn't have the energy that Sabalnkea plays with.

It's hard to say what will happen but it will a very good final between the two best players in the past two weeks. The match starts at 09:30 CET.
