2023 Hobart International WTA Entry List featuring Bouzkova, Mertens, Cornet and Putintseva

With the Australian Open weeks away, the players on the WTA tour will be looking to hone their skills ahead of the first Grand Slam of the season at the Hobart International, which will run from January 9-14 2023 in Hobart, Australia.

A WTA 250 event, the Hobart International will make it's return to the WTA calendar following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. 2020 champion Elena Rybakina will not be present to defend her title, allowing for a new champion to be crowned.

Czech star Marie Bouzkova will be the event's top seed, and the 24-year old is hoping to start her season off on a positive note. Joining Bouzkova is the big-hitting Belgian Elise Mertens, alongside the crafty French veteran Alize Cornet.

Kazakhstan's Yulia Putinseva is scheduled to compete at the event, as are American Bernada Pera and rising Ukrainian star Anhelina Kalinina. Below is the full list of entrants.
