2024 Hungarian Grand Prix Budapest Open WTA Entry list featuring Kasatkina, Alexandrova and Timofeeva

Although Wimbledon will be in the rear view mirror, some WTA players will return to clay courts for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix Budapest Open, which will be held from July 15-21, 2024.

A WTA 250 event, the Hungarian Grand Prix will be hosted in Budapest, Hungary as local fans will get the opportunity to see their favorite stars up close and personal. Conceived in 1996, the tournament took a hiatus from 2014 till 2020. It made it's return to the WTA calendar in 2021, and has been a staple on tour ever since.

World No.14 is the top seed at the event, and the Russian dynamo will be joined by compatriot and defending champion Maria Timofeeva. At just 19 years of age, Timofeeva defeated Kateryna Baindl in last year's final to lift her maiden WTA trophy.

Ekaterina Alexandrova and the in-form Diana Shnaider are also scheduled to compete at the event. They may have to battle past Yulia Putintseva, as the Kazakh star is very familiar with the grounds in Budapest after lifting the trophy in 2021. Americans Taylor Townsend and Bernarda Pera will also make an appearance at the tournament. Below is the full list of entrants.
