Emanating from the heart of the Italian island of Sicily, the 2024
Palermo Ladies Open is a clay court event that will take place a week before the
Olympic Games, which kick off on July 27th in Paris.
A WTA 250 event, the Palermo Ladies Open will allow the WTA stars make the quick transition from grass back to clay as they begin their quest for Olympic glory. The tournament will feature 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams, with a group of talented women set to compete at this year's edition.
Palermo Open will see a slight increase in prize money from last year
The tournament will offer a total of $267,082 in
prize money, which is more than 3% higher than last year's pool. Former World No.3
