Andy Roddick was happy to see Iga Swiatek being appreciated by her inclusion in the TIME's 100 most influential list as she generally doesn't get too much press.
The Polish player was the undisputed best player in the world last year and she certainly looked like the best player in the world this year at times despite not having the best results. Her inclusion in the TIME 100 most influential list was praised by Andy Roddick who pointed out that many players get more coverage for doing far less on the WTA Tour.
Speaking on the Tennis Channel, Roddick said:
"One of the things I love seeing because a lot of people on the women's side get covered a lot more for a lot less accomplishments than Iga Swiatek. So I'm happy that she's getting this crossover exposure because it is well deserved. She is uber professional, she is finding her voice outside of the arena so I love seeing this for Iga."

Boo hoo Andy. Just shut up. She is not exciting to watch, she is dull & has the personality of plain oatmeal. Most people would rather watch paint dry than watch her play & she's not known outside of tennis. I wonder who paid for the "Time" nomination. "Other People" bring more eyes/views to tennis than this quack. She's not well liked in the locker room. Go figure bozo.
