"All part of this unique journey" - Raducanu closes 2022 chapter of her career

Emma Raducanu did not enjoy a very successful first full professional season but the British player accepted it as part of the journey.

Raducanu was forced to finish her year earlier than expected due to a wrist injury that forced her to abandon plans of playing in Guadalajara as well as the Billie Jean King Cup. The Brit has not talked to the media since calling time on her year but briefly commented on it on social media.

She wrote on Twitter:

"that’s it 22! on my own route, it’s all part of this unique journey! Thumbs up to first year on tour"

She won't return until 2022 with her goal being on improving her physique. She's been already posting workout videos on Instagram with Team Captain Anne Keothavong explaining that Raducanu already looks much stronger.
