All seeds through on Day 2 at the Open 6ème Sens in Lyon

The 2nd day at Open 6ème Sens was not so successful for French fans as only 1 out of 4 French players got into the 2nd round. However, the day was pretty successful for the seeded players as all of them advanced.

Tereza Martincová and Camila Giorgi kicked-off the day in Lyon with their victory. Martincová defeated Bogdan 2-1 and Giorgi got past Lapko in straight sets. Viktoriya Tomova was the last unseeded player to advance as she defeated Magdalena Frech.

And then the show of seeded players started. First, it was no. 6 in Lyon, Jil Teichmann who defeated home wild-card, Burel, just in 2 sets. The most interesting match of the day, the match between 2nd seeded Kristina Mladenovic and wild-card Chloe Paquet ended better for the more experienced French player.

Also, the seventh-seeded Daria Kastatkina was successful in a 3-set drama against Pauline Parmentier. The day was closed by the victory of Slovakia's Viktoria Kuzmova who is no. 8 in Lyon outplayed Lesley Pattinama Kerkohve also in 3 sets.
