Andreescu in 2021 - another Grand Slam or fall down?

Bianca Andreescu enjoyed an extraordinary 2019 season after starting it out of Top 150 of the WTA Rankings, in 2020 she didn't play a single match.

After struggling with the knee injury also in 2020, Bianca Andreescu didn't play a single match. The young Canadian managed to win her first Grand Slam tournament in 2019 alongside the titles in Toronto and Indian Wells.

Andreescu should return to tennis in 2021, and despite missing the whole year, she will have a big advantage of being ranked 7th in the WTA Rankings thanks to the ranking protection introduced due to WTA Tour suspension.

It now remains a question if she will be able to produce same results in 2021 as she did in 2019 or if she will start to slowly fall down in the rankings. Andreescu showed many times her great potential, and so it's very possible that she will fight for another Grand Slam title also in 2021.
