Victoria
Azarenka and her son Leo enjoyed the Stanley Cup of Hockey.
The
Belarusian tennis player attended last Friday's play-off game of the tournament
between the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins, in which the Bruins secured a
4-2 victory. The former world No.1 was accompanied by her son Leo and shared
the moments they experienced in the crowd on social media:
“Making
memories with the kid @NHL," wrote Azarenka on Twitter.
This is not
the first time Azarenka has shown herself to be a big fan of the NHL. Two
months ago, the 2-time Grand Slam champion was seen with Leo at the NHL All-Star,
an annual event that brought together the top figures in world hockey in
Florida.
"We love sports. All star weekend wth Leo. Thank you NHL we had a lot of fun #NHLAllStarWeekend." post Azarenka two months ago.
'Vichka'
began the clay season with a win over Sloane Stephens at the Charleston Open,
but was later defeated in the round of 16 by Russian player Anna Kalinskaya.
The athlete's next challenge will be at the WTA 1000 Mutua Madrid Open, where
she is seeded 16th.
