WTA legend Billie Jean King took to social media to announce some good news, her autobiography, All In, has been nominated for Sports Book of the Year.
King, who has been a pioneer for women in the world of tennis and sports in general, released the book last year. Last weekend, the WTA Hall of Famer took to Twitter to announce that her book had received the prestigious nomination.
"Honored to announce that my autobiography, All In, has been shortlisted for the Sports Book of the Year in the International Autobiography category," wrote King. "The Sports Book Awards is the major annual promotion for sports writing and publishing in the UK.”
This is not the first book penned by King, who has written and been involved in others such as Billie Jean’ and ‘The Autobiography of Billie Jean King’. Additionally, ‘Pressure Is a Privilege: Lessons I’ve Learned from Life and the Battle of the Sexes’ and ‘We Have Come a Long Way: The Story of Women’s Tennis’ have been written by the 12-time Grand Slam singles titlist.
