Kim Clijsters comeback has come to a halt as the Belgian player is unsure when she will compete again noting that things are complicated.
Kim Clijsters surprised many with an attempted comeback last in a previous couple of months and while the comeback did not go as planned she maintained her will to continue doing it. Clijsters explained that she simply has a desire to play tennis again and while she did not play too well there were times when the former champion looked like herself.
Things have gotten a bit more complicated for her as she spoke on the matter upon returning home to Belgium. Clijsters is there to launch "Pablo", a facial recognition terminal to better manage access to the padel court. Asked about her comeback, she said:
“It has become more complicated to combine everything with family life. No next scheduled tournament. We'll see…"
Clijsters would not share more so it seems like a tennis comeback is not one of her priorities at the moment. Juggling family life and career was always going to be tricky but fans are hopeful that Clijsters will come back once more. Time will tell.
