Coco Gauff faced
Martina Trevisan once more but it was not Roland Garros but rather the WTA 1000 event in Guadalajara 6-0 6-3.
The match looked very much like their Roland Garros match as the Italian really struggled against Gauff. Trevisan likes to attack but she also struggles to covert the court as well as Guaff due to being shorter and not as quick.
Gauff on the other hand was like a wall not giving anything to her opponent and ruthlessly cruising to a 6-0 finish. Trevisan won only 3 points on her serve in that set out of 15 played. That was too dominant. The second set was following a very similar trajection as Gauff took a 3-0 lead but backed off a little bit.
Trevisan also stopped caring and played really loose which yielded results as she pulled the break back to make it 3-4. She didn't hold her serve as Gauff snapped back into serious mode once more taking a 5-3 lead and finishing it off 6-3.
