Danielle Collins is following in the footsteps of Coco
Gauff and showcasing a fresh new look for the summer season. The American
player is likely experiencing the peak of her career in the year of her
retirement. As she prepares for the grass swing, Collins shared photos of her
new appearance.
The former world No. 8 has found her best form in recent
months. She won her first WTA 1000 at the Miami Open and claimed the WTA 500
Charleston Open trophy a week later. Collins hopes to continue her winning
streak with
Wimbledon on the horizon.

Since the start of the Miami Open, Collins has amassed a
23-4 record, allowing her to re-enter the top 10 just before the French Open.
However, she faced a surprising second-round defeat to Olga Danilovic, dropping
to No. 11 following Roland Garros.
The 30-year-old took advantage of her weeks off from
competition to debut a new look, which she shared on her Instagram stories:
“Someone got bangs,” she wrote, also showcasing a summery light blonde shade.
A few days ago, world No. 4
Coco Gauff also shared a story
revealing her new blonde hair. The 20-year-old posted a selfie displaying her
updated blonde braids with the caption: “Blonde for the summer.”
