Outside of success on the tennis courts, there are several reasons to celebrate as Chinese player Qiang Wang appeared to have recently tied the knot.

Photos surfaced online of the former World No.12 at her presumed wedding ceremony, with Wang getting married to an unnamed male. The couple were elegantly dressed with Wang sporting a bright red, which seemed to be the theme of the wedding as her outfit matched the surrounding balloons.

The 31-year old last competed at the Tokyo Open during the 2022 season, and has been inactive since that event. Little is known about her current tennis status, as she maintains a low profile.

However, Wang has reached as high as World No.12, a ranking she achieved in September 2019. Furthermore, she has two career WTA singles titles to her name, with her best Grand Slam performance coming at the 2019 US Open, where she reached the quarterfinals.
