"I'll let the universe decide this": Aryna Sabalenka quizzed on possibility of becoming a mother one day

Aryna Sabalenka spoke about the possibility of having children in the future. The 2-times Grand Slam champion responded on social media during an Instagram question and answer session, jokingly saying that she would let the universe decide the appropriate time.

The World No. 2 was recently eliminated in the first round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which was undoubtedly a disappointment for Sabalenka, especially after playing her first match following the title at the Australian Open.

“Yes I do maybe in 5 years or 10. Or maybe in 3, I’ll let the universe decide this,” the Belarusian said with laughing emojis.

Aryna Sabalenka's current boyfriend is Konstantin Kolstov, a 42-year-old Belarusian ice hockey player who has three children from a previous relationship: Daniel, Alexander, and Stefan.

Another fan asked her about her relationship with Kolstov's children: “Do you think you’ll be an amazing stepmother?”

"I don't know … I guess yes. Stefan loves me," Sabalenka responded.
