“I’m fighting” - Kostyuk shuts down fan on social media

Marta Kostyuk shut down a fan on social media who suggest that she is not fighting for her native country of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian held a Q and A session with her fans on social media and one question aimed to provoke Kostyuk but she handled it calmly. A fan asked her why she wasn't fighting for her country in Ukraine and she simply responded:

"I'm fighting."

While Kostyuk could do very little on the front she is using her platform to speak about the conflict frequently. Kostyuk has been the most outspoken player from her country openly bashing Russian and Belarussian players for their stances and criticising the governing bodies of tennis as well.
