Marta Kostyuk becomes first athlete to sign head-to-toe sponsorship deal with Wilson ahead of Australian Open after splitting from Nike

Marta Kostyuk becomes first player to sign with Wilson becoming their ambassador for the whole geer including the racquet and the tennis outfit.

Kostyuk uses Wilson racquet but she was sponsored by Nike for everything else. That changed recently when her deal with Nike ended and she now became the first athlete to be fully sponsored by Wilson (head-to-toe). Her first event since the deal began will be the Australian Open where she will literally be covered in Wilson.

On the deal, Kostyuk explained how Wilson was always part of her equipment:

“Growing up in a tennis family, Wilson has always been a trusted staple in my game for as long as I can remember. It feels surreal to officially be playing and wearing Wilson; a partnership that I know will inspire and evolve, just as the game does.”

Jason Collins of Wilson added:
