Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has become a victim of a robbery in Milan. The 22-year-old has visited the city of Milan on a vacation but has become a victim of robbery. She shared the details on social media with a caption: "Expensive trip to Milano. Whoever did this- God bless you. Truly," Kostyuk also went on to release a video on the social media platform where she revealed that people who committed this crime left her sporting equipment.

Later in April, she lost in the final of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart to world number six Elena Rybakina in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Kostyuk’s best performance in a Grand Slam came in the Australian Open where she was knocked out after losing in the quarterfinal to world number three America’s Coco Gauff with a score of 7-6, 6-7, 6-2. Kostyuk’s last appearance of the year came in the Wuhan Open where she lost in the third round, once again to Gauff in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-1.
