Former WTA World No.1
Ana Ivanovic was asked to create her perfect tennis player using attributes from other players, but tennis fans were not quite pleased with the result.
In a recent video shared on her social media account, the 2008 Roland Garros created her perfect player after being asked to choose players based on their serve, strength/power, endurance, slice, drop shot, forehand, and backhand.
Fans give mixed reactions to Ivanovic's selection
Ivanovic chose Serena Williams' serve and strength/power, the endurance of
Caroline Wozniacki, Steffi Graf's slice, and Ons Jabeur's drop shot. She then picked Iga Swiatek for her forehand and Novak Djokovic for his backhand. However, this resulted in a mixed reaction from several fans, with some commending her for choosing Djokovic while others seemed perplexed at her choice of Wozniacki.
"Novak’s backhand is so good she had to include him in this," one fan wrote on Twitter.
"Caroline for endurance seems absurd," wrote a disgruntled fan.
"Slice should be Ash Barty," said another fan.
"I would put Aryna (Sabalenka) for sheer power and mental focus. She is quite amazing," said an enthralled fan.
"Excellent choices," wrote a fan.
"What a joke," said an upset fan.
