"No humanity" Anisimova on Russia's Invasion on Ukraine

Amanda Anisimova spoke out about Russia's invasion of Ukraine on her social media saying she had no words for what was happening.

Anisimova was born 20 years ago in the United States of America but both of her parents are ethnic Russians which makes this a touchy subject for the American. Anisimova, like many, was shocked at what was happening tweeting: "#nohumanity. No words for what is happening"

Anisimova joins several other tennis players who are directly afflicted by the war such as Medvedev and Rublev who are ethnic Russians themselves. Ukrainians such as Yastremska, Svitolina and Stakhovsky also spoke out against the invasion.
