Tunisian tennis star
Ons Jabeur lost her second consecutive Wimbledon final at the 2023 Championships, but received an outpouring of support from members of the tennis community, including retired American pro
Andy Roddick.
The former World No.1 empathized with Jabeur, sending her a strong message of support after her devastating loss against Marketa Vondrousova at this year's SW 19 final.
Jabeur overwhelmed by Roddick's message of support
Roddick had been in a similar position, losing multiple Wimbledon finals to Roger Federer. The American urged Jabeur to never give up in a heartwarming message.
"Obviously I was crying, you know, happy crying.. I appreciate that he took the time to write a good long message," revealed Jabeur. "I'll definitely talk to him when I see him, probably at US Open."
