Paula Badosa battles past Haddad Maia in Adelaide

Paula Badosa continued her good play in Australia by winning a very close match with Haddad Maia 7-6(5) 7-5 securing the semi-final of the event.
The Spaniard has looked pretty good so far in the year as she's yet to lose a match. Badosa was able to defeat another undefeated player Haddad Maia. The match was close as expected but Badosa was able to squeeze out a win. The first set was going smoothly for her until complications arose.
Badosa applied heavy pressure from the start and eventually got the break. She was up 5-2 at one point but failed to serve it out at 5-3 giving Haddad Maia another chance. The Brazilian took us to the tiebreak but was unable to get it done after falling behind 2-6. The final tiebreak score was 7-5 for Badosa.
The second set opened with Badosa having some issues on serve. Haddad Maia had some chances but was unable to take them. As the match went on, Badosa played better and Haddad Maid was in trouble. She barely fended off break points at 5-4 but then fell apart in her next service game to lose it 5-7.
