Pliskova shows solidarity after Czech footballer Jakub Jankto comes out as gay

Karolina Pliskova has shown solidarity with Czech professional footballer Jakub Jankto who came out as gay becoming the first active footballer to do so.

The 27-year-old footballer plays for Sparta Prague on loan from Getafe and he came out publicly on social media admitting that he didn't want to hide anymore. He became the first active player to do so and received widespread support from football clubs, other players and the media. Karolina Pliskova also supported her countryman responding on Twitter:
