Emma Raducanu is making a return to the courts as the British player is set to face Jelena Ostapenko in round one in an interesting Tuesday Schedule.
The Tuesday Schedule at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix will feature a couple of interesting matches starting at 12:00 CET. The first match of the day will be between Martina Trevisan and Beatriz Haddad Maia. After that, we'll see Daria Kasatkina take on Paula Badosa with Tatjana Maria and In-Albon coming after that.
After that, it's the match of the day between Emma Raducanu and Jelena Ostapenko with Barbora Krejcikova and Liudmila Samsonova coming up after that. We'll also see Petra Martic take on Anastasia Potapova who was originally supposed to play Petra Kvitova who withdrew from the event. As noted above, play starts at noon local time.
The winner of the Raducanu tie won't get any easier as they have to play Ons Jabeur in the second round in a tough Stuttgart draw. Ostapenko leads Raducanu 1-0 in the head-to-head. She saw off Raducanu in the Korea Open last year.
In terms of Badosa and Kasatkina, the latter leads their respective head to head record 2-1, interestingly their last clay meeting was won by Kasatkina too.
She won in Internazionali BNL d'Italia Rome last year and will look to repeat the feat in a stacked Tuesday schedule.
