Roland Garros 2020 to be played in September due to Coronavirus

The 2020 Roland Garros will be played from 20th September to 4th October 2020 due to the Coronavirus threat it was revealed.

The 2020 Roland Garros was supposed to be played from 18th May to 7th June 2020 in Paris, France. After the whole ATP Tour was suspended for 6 weeks as well as WTA Tour, French Open was endangered as well as it was supposed to take part soon after the end of the suspension.
Now, it was revealed that the whole tournament will be moved and will be played from 20th September to 4th October 2020. The President of the FFT, Bernard Giudicelli said:
"It is a difficult but courageous decision that we have made in this EXCEPTIONAL and evolving period since this weekend. We act responsibly, we must stand in solidarity with each other in this fight for the health security of all."
