Saint Petersburg Ladies Trophy Day 2 Schedule of Play

After we had a weekend of Fed Cup action the WTA Tour returns with regular tennis with the Saint Petersburg Ladies Trophy. The day 2 schedule of play will be headlined by Croatia's Donna Vekic who plays Kristie Ahn in a fascinating round one matchup that could go either way.

Joining her on the courts today will be several Russian players who will try to give the Saint Petersburg crowd a reason to celebrate. The most famous of them Kuznetsova will play against Jennifer Brady who is a great hard court player so the Russian might be in trouble if she doesn't play good enough.

Former World number 10 Daria Kasaktina will also play against Alexandrova in an all- Russian clash. That match will close out the schedule of play so the home crowd in St. Petersburg can expect an excellent match to finish the day. Kasaktina plays extremely well in Russian and if she does well she will be rewarded nicely.
