Former hitting partner of
Serena Williams, Sascha Bajin, has dismissed the idea of joining the coaching team of
Coco Gauff, stating the American tennis phenom already has a great team.
Bajin recently ended his association with former World No.1
Karolina Pliskova, and later took to social media to ask fans for ideas regarding his next move.
Fan suggest teaming up with Gauff, to which Bajin declined
A fan pondered if Bajin would like to join Gauff's coaching staff, prompting Bajin to assert that the American was already in "great hands" with former Spanish player Pere Riba and Jarmere Jenkins (Serena Williams' former hitting partner) in her coaching team.
"She has a great team on the side with Pere Riba and Serena's former hitter. She's in great hands," he responded.
Gauff began training with Jenkins in April 2023, and subsequently added Riba to her time just before this year's Wimbledon.
