Serena Williams reveals she is having a baby girl as second child: "Our next great adventure"

Former world number one America’s legendary tennis star Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian have announced that they are expecting a baby girl.

The powerful couple, who has been dating since 2015, already has a daughter with the name of Olympia.

At the 2023 Met Gala, Serena and Ohanian announced that they are expecting a second child.

On Monday, the 41-year-old posted an emotional video on the social media platform revealing the gender of their second child.

Serena remains one of the greatest — if not the greatest — players in the women’s single category in the Open era.

The Michigan-born ended her illustrious career having won 23 Grand Slam titles. Her most successful competition was the Australian Open and Wimbledon where she lifted the title seven times each.

Serena’s first major triumph came in 1999 when she lifted the US Open after beating the former world number one Martina Hingis in straight sets with a score of 6–3, 7–6(7–4).

Her last big triumph was in 2017 when she lifted the Australian Open after beating her sister Venus in the final with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
