Information about the whereabouts of Shuai Peng are slowly starting emerge more often as a lot of people have called for China to release them.
The curious case of Shuai Peng keeps getting mysterious as the Chinese player appears to be well after going dark for several days following a public accusation of harassment against a high-ranking official in her native country of China. Several public figures in tennis and outside of tennis have called upon China to let everyone know where the player is and slowly information has been getting out.
The Chinese player held a video call with an IOC executive without any problems indicating that she is well and free to do what she wants. She was also spotted at a Beijing tennis match on Sunday morning with the video being released by the Chinese media. It's hard to tell whether the WTA will be satisfied with these tidbits of information but many will be glad to see that the player is well, for now.
