Svitolina returns home to Odessa to take part in Run for Ukraine

Elina Svitolina returned to her home country to take part in a charity run for Ukraine that will actually take place in her hometown of Odesa where her grandmother stayed during the war.

Elina Svitolina has spent much of the Ukraine war outside of her country protecting her pregnancy in a very vulnerable time for her. She was actively involved in supporting her country in many ways and now she's returned there to contribute to that goal even more. She participated in the 'Run for Ukraine' initiative in her home city of Odesa.

The city was a target of attacks by Russians and it also hosted her grandmother for all of that time. Svitolina shared the news about her being in Odessa on social media with a story.
