Iga Swiatek speaks about herself in a brief video for the WTA For The Game campaign.
The Polish player became world-famous after her sensational Roland Garros run which saw her dominate her way to her first Grand Slam title. That competitive spirit came from her dad who was an Olympian and rower. She said:
"My dad showed me tennis, he was a rower." She also spoke about her biggest goal in tennis:
"My biggest goal in tennis would be winning every grand slam and having an Olympic medal. I want to be a consistent player and be in top 10 for 10 years."
Speaking about her hobbies she said:
"I am interested in music. I love rock and pop from the sixties."
She also spoke about the hardest thing in her career saying it was surgery:
"I was not sure if I would be coming back. One of the hardest things are injuries. Coming back from injury stronger made me believe this is my life now. Tennis is everything right now."
