The WTA event in Linz is continuing on Thursday with five very interesting matches on the schedule that is set to start at 14:30.

The first of the five interesting matches we will have on Thursday at the Upper Austria Ladies' will start at 14:30 and it will be Cirstea vs Dodin. Both of them have played well in their previous round with Dodin coming back in her match to win. She has been exceptional indoors and many expect her to do the same tomorrow. Nadia Podoroska will take on Giorgi at the same time and the return to tennis for Podorska has been very good. It was her first match since the Roland Garros semifinal exit and she looked good. For Giorgi, it is another opportunity that she will cherish.

After that match, Kudermetova will take on Rus. Veronika disappointed the native Austrian crowd by smashing Haas 6-0 6-0 but that trashing put everyone on notice including Rus. She will enter this match carefully but she will expect to win. Aryna Sabalenka will also play today taking on Voegele. It's an interesting matchup and for Sabalenka it will provide an opportunity to continue her good run which started in Ostrava earlier. The final match of the day will be the most interesting one as Mertens will take on Zvonareva. Elise had to work hard in order to come back yesterday and she hopes to avoid similar struggles against Zvonareva. The veteran won't make it easy and that should delight the native Linz crowd the most.
