Coco Gauff starred in a promotional advertisement for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie: The Marvels, alongside fellow athletes Diana Taurasi and Sydney McLauglhin.
World No. 3 has become one of the most marketable tennis players recently, especially since winning her first Grand Slam at the 2023 US Open. Now, she has joined the promotion for the upcoming Marvel movie. Coco Gauff shared a video on social media featuring herself with athlete Sydney McLaughilin and basketball player Diana Taurasi.
In the video, the athletes can be seen switching sports, with Gauff playing basketball, Taurasi running on a track, and McLaughlin picking up a tennis racket, all under the tagline "Higher, Further, Faster."

Coco Gauff in the semifinals of the WTA Finals
The 19-year-old tennis player recently celebrated her qualification for the WTA Finals semifinals. Gauff participated in the tournament for the second time, and this time she performed better, securing victories against Ons Jabeur (6-0, 6-1) and Marketa Vondrousova (5-7, 7-6, 6-3), although she suffered a defeat to Iga Swiatek (0-6, 5-7).
After defeating the Czech player in her last match, Gauff had to wait for the result of the Swiatek-Jabeur match since her spot in the semifinals was not guaranteed. A win by the Tunisian player could have eliminated her from the tournament in the round-robin stage.
With Swiatek's victory, the American remains in the competition and faces a tough challenge against her compatriot and doubles partner, Jessica Pegula.
Pegula won her group and overcame her disappointing results from 2022, where she suffered three defeats. Both Gauff and Pegula also played doubles together last year, where they experienced three consecutive losses.
This time, they will compete against each other for a spot in the tournament's semifinals. Pegula leads their head-to-head record 2-1, with their most recent encounter taking place three months ago at the Canadian Open, where the 29-year-old player emerged victorious.
