Emma Raducanu is slowly ramping up the preparation for the Australian Open as the Brit was spotted practicing with coach Beltz in Melbourne.
The return to competition for Raducau was supposed to start in a day when the first Melbourne Summer Set event was due to begin. However, the Brit opted to withdraw from that event citing a lack of proper preparation for doing so. In a statement released by the event organizers, Raducanu explained that the event is coming a bit too soon.
The Brit caught COVID a fortnight ago and practiced very little until she produced a negative test. With the lack of practice leading up to the event, Raducanu opted to spend one more week practicing before returning to competitive play. On course for that objective, she was spotted with coach Beltz doing some work. Check it out below.
