Caroline
Garcia announced her marriage to her boyfriend, Borja Durán. The 30-year-old
tennis player usually keeps her private life away from the public eye, but this
time she used social media to share that she is preparing for a new chapter in
her life after getting engaged.
The
former world No. 4 had an early exit from her home Grand Slam at
French Open, after falling in
the second round to
Sofia Kenin. Despite entering as the 21st seed and
top-ranked local player, she couldn’t overcome the 2020 finalist and lost in
straight sets.

Nonetheless,
the French tennis player can put the bitter experience at Roland Garros behind
her after confirming her new challenge off the court. The couple posted some
pictures titled: “Mr. And Mrs. coming soon,” along with heart emojis and an

The
post quickly filled with comments from several of her colleagues, including
Maria Sakkari, Elina Svitolina, Garbine Muguruza, Daria Saville, Alize Cornet,
Sloane Stephens, Arthur Rinderknech, Lucas Pouille, Carla Suarez Navarro,
Bethanie Mattek-Sands, among others.
