WTA Draw announced for Adelaide International 2: Sabalenka, Gauff and Svitolina among top seeds

The 2022 Adelaide International 2 event will run from January 10th till 15th with a very solid overall field of players.

Some of the players that played in the first one like Barty won't play in this one but the WTA 250 event will still boast a very strong field of players headlined by world number two Aryna Sabalenka who took a wild card entry into the field. She is the number one seed and besides her, we will see Elina Svitolina who is making her 2022 debut.

One of the players that did play the previous event and will play this one is Coco Gauff who played some solid tennis almost beating Ashleigh Barty last week so she will cherish the opportunity to test herself again. If she replicates some of the form she showed earlier she might go deep into the event. Gauff will start off against Siniakova who is a good opponent for a first-round matchup.

Sabalenka will take on a qualifier in the first round with a possible matchup with Kudermetova down the line while Svitolina was not as lucky having to play against Madison Keys in the first round. Should she win that match, she will possibly take on Cirstea in the next round. Check out the full draw below.
