2020 Australian Open Qualifying Men's Round Up - Gulbis books return to main draw, Purcell and Gombos also through

There is results in the 2020 Australian Open Men's Qualifying with some well-known names sealing their places in the main draw.

Most notably is former World No.10 Ernests Gulbis who produced an inspired display to dispel India's Prajnesh Gunneswaran. The Latvian ace who is now outside the World's top 250 will feature in his 10th edition of the Melbourne tournament.

Lukas Rosol didn't move through though losing to Pedro Martinez Portero in a 6-4, 6-2 defeat; while Norbert Gombos and Ilya Ivashka moved through.

17-year old Lorenzo Musetti stormed into the final round of qualifying by defeating former World No.56 Marius Copil 6-7, 6-4, 7-5. He will face Tallon Griekspoor next up.

Max Purcell is also through to the main draw for the first time earning his passage through against Slovak Jozef Kovalik.
