Day 7 at the Tokyo Olympic Games will bring us the least of action in the past week but there will be big names on the courts like world number one's Novak Djokovic and Ashleigh Barty.
The Tokyo Olympics are slowly coming to a close with only a handful of matches remaining to be played. On day 7 we will see the men's semifinals ad we will find out which players will compete for the gold and bronze medals. At 08:00 CET we will see Khachanov take on Carreno Busta.
Nobody expected these two to be here but they have earned it. Both of them have a chance of a lifetime to guarantee themselves a medal by winning and both will look to do it. The 2nd semifinal will be the premier one at 09:30 as Djokovic takes on Zverev. The German said several times he can beat Djokovic and he will need to prove it tomorrow.
A lot is at stake and Djokovic is playing peak tennis right now. He has not lost since the Rome Masters over two months ago and he desperately wants the gold medal that he is missing. Expect a brutally good match. We will also have doubles action as the men's doubles final is set to take place at 11:00 CET.
Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic take on Ivan Dodig and Marin Cilic in a historic all-Croatian clash. Mixed doubles will also be played tomorrow with the semifinalist on the schedule. Ashleigh Bart and John Peers will take on Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Andrey Rublev. In the 2nd one, Elena Vesnina and Aslan Karatsev will take on Novak Djokovic and Nina Stojanovic.
