The grass court swing continues post Roland Garros with the opening day of action set to take place at the Cinch Championships at Queen's Club, a historic venue in London, England.
The likes of Andy Murray and Matteo Berrettini are involved on the grass courts but not on the opening day with the defending champion and a rising Italian star among those involved.
The latter is Jannik Sinner who has been in excellent form over the past year sitting at No.17 in the rankings last month ahead of Wimbledon where he failed to get out of the qualifiers in 2019.
He will be a seeded player this time but as a result, his grass court game is a bit of an anomaly.
First up will be a battle of the prospects as he takes on home hope, Jack Draper first up on Centre Court this afternoon.
Following on will be another home hero in Cameron Norrie who is inside the top 50 and Britain's number two behind Dan Evans. He will face Albert Ramos-Vinolas second up.
While Feliciano Lopez is essentially defacto/defending champion as the tournament was not played in 2020, he starts his defence following that against Illya Marchenko with happy memories not only on the singles but on the doubles court when Andy Murray returned.
Finally, Aslan Karatsev, the World No.24, takes centre stage like Sinner ahead of his first Wimbledon main draw when he faces Alejandro Tabilo.
Over on Court 1, the tie of the day starts it off as Reilly Opelka faces John Millman in a match potentially befitting on any other day of the Centre Court.
Adrian Mannarino will follow up against Liam Broady, while Lorenzo Sonego will look to follow the exploits like at Roland Garros of Sinner and Berrettini when he faces Viktor Troicki.
